Meeting Minutes

 

18 February 2026

 

Date: Wednesday, February 18, 2026 10:00 a.m. 

 

Present: (10) Tim Rodabaugh, Shirley Lant, Anita Hesser, Joanne Ripley, Diana Fee,

Ray Benjamin, Winston Wolf, Dave Conklin, Lonny & Mary Johnson

A quorum was established at the begininng of the meeting.  Meeting began at 10 a.m.

 

1) Anita - Fund Raising.  Anita is still waiting to hear from the Legion with regard to the

contract for this years Craft Fair as well as from Grand Central Plaza for Doug's Fish Fry.

She showed us a quilt block with the the American flag on it she thought we could use for a

give away at one of our events celebrating our 20th anniversary this year.  We will talk 

more about this.  She also showed us the beautiful quilt she is working on for this years raffle. 

 

2) Ray - Building.  Didn't have much to report on as the weather hasn't been the best.  He

is waiting for the men to come to look at the floor joists. 

 

3) Jean - Community Outreach.  Carol Norton will speak at the March 18th meeting.  Judy

Slade will speak on a War of 1812 Veteran at the May 20th meeting. 

 

4) Tim - Cemeteries, projects.  Nothing new to report on cemeteries.  He would like to have

a meeting of the One Room School House book committee before the end of the month here

at the Town Hall. 

 

5) Tim - Treasury report.  January beginning balance: $42,655.07.  Expenses: $83.06; Income

$117.35.  January ending balance: $42, 689.36.  Motion to accept the treasurer's report made 

by Mary J., 2nd Ray B.

 

 1) Member Brian Snyder's mother passed away February 2nd, a sympathy card will be sent

to him.  Carol Maye is recovering from shoulder replacement & is looking forward to the

March meeting.   

 

2) Dave Conklin shared some school days memories from the Parsons school on the

Middle Road.  

 

3) Tim had an email regarding the painting being donated from Linda Burke.  Arrangements

are being made to have it shipped to us.  

 

4) Joanne had the societies Events Album for folks to look at.  

 

5) The yearly memo to remind members of dues will be sent out March 1, 2026. 

 

Speaker / Presenter: none scheduled for thei meeting.
